Terms of service

1. Agreement

By using Overwatch (the "Service"), operated by Vektus, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. The Service

Overwatch provides intelligence derived from public EVE Online data. The current individual tier is free. We may change, add, or retire features, and may introduce optional paid tiers; we will not retroactively charge for what was free. The Service is provided "as is" — killfeeds hiccup, upstream APIs go down, and intelligence is probabilistic by nature. No warranty is made that the intel is complete, current, or correct, and you fly on it at your own risk.

3. Accounts

You're responsible for your account and for anything done with it. Keep your credentials to yourself. You must be legally able to enter this agreement in your jurisdiction. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms; you may delete your account at any time.

4. Acceptable use

Don't:

• scrape, bulk-harvest, or resell the Service or its data;
• probe, overload, or interfere with the Service's operation or security;
• use the Service to harass players out-of-game or to link characters to real identities;
• misrepresent Overwatch as affiliated with CCP hf.

In-game use — hunting, avoiding hunters, fleet planning, market strategy — is exactly what the Service is for. That part of the sandbox is yours.

5. Third-party data and services

The Service depends on zKillboard and CCP's ESI API, each governed by their own terms. EVE Online and all related marks are trademarks of CCP hf.; Overwatch is an independent third-party tool operating under CCP's developer policy and is not endorsed by CCP hf.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vektus is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the Service — including, without limitation, lost ships, lost cargo, failed ganks, misjudged threats, or corp drama. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the preceding 12 months — which, for the free tier, is zero.
