They are the Ardishapur, Kador, Kor-Azor, Sarum, and Tash-Murkon families, who take direct orders from The Emperor. The oldest of all civilizations in New Eden, the Amarr trace their origins back to settlers on the planet of Athra thousands of years ago. Led by a prophet known as Gheinok the First, they were driven from the continent of Assimia following the collapse of the EVE Gate, eventually settling on an island known as Amarr. There they languished for centuries, as warlords waged bloody conflicts on each other and the church struggled to keep the faith alive.
